Hello! So glad you are here!
understood, and validated.
I believe feelings aren’t something to fix — they’re something to understand, and that families grow strongest when they learn about emotions together.
It’s designed to feel like sitting with me in the therapy room — supporting your child to understand where emotions come from, why we don’t always have control over them, and learning playful, practical ways to express feelings like worry, frustration, and anger.
explore, learn, and grow together.
🌿 Our Philosophy
They are signs of a nervous system trying to cope.
Regulation Before Education
Your Child Is Not Broken
We don’t “fix” children here.
We help them understand their brain, their body, and their feelings — so they can grow confidence from the inside out.
Nervous System to Nervous System
Children don’t just hear our words — they feel our state.
Calm isn’t something we demand.
It’s something we model
Parent First, Problem-Solving Second
Parents are a child’s strongest co-regulator.
Before we teach strategies to children, we gently support you — because when you feel steadier, your child does too
Skills Grow Through Relationship
Regulation skills aren’t built through charts, consequences, or pressure.
They grow through:
-
shared language
-
playful practice
-
repeated safe experiences
-
small brave steps
How Change Happens Here
Awareness → Language → Practice → Integration
First we notice.
Then we name.
Then we practise.
Then it becomes part of everyday life.
Who is this course for?
Do I need to complete the course in one go?
This course is completely flexible and self-paced, so you and your child can work through it in a way that suits your family’s schedule.
One session is released each week, allowing you to follow a structured routine — similar to attending sessions with me at the clinic. This helps create consistency and supports steady progress.
You’ll have 6 months of access to all content, giving you plenty of time to move at your own pace. To help maintain momentum and support your child’s learning, I recommend not leaving more than two weeks between sessions where possible.
What’s included in the course?
-child-friendly video lessons and activities
-practical emotional regulation strategies
-parent guidance and support through videos and resources
-6 months access to all materials
-Weekly email guidance from Anja throughout the program
PLUS: The Emotion Explorer Welcome Kit
Is it therapy?
This program is not a replacement for one-on-one therapy.
It is guided support created by a qualified child and family counsellor and draws on evidence-based therapeutic approaches used in counselling practice.
Can I contact Anja if I have questions?
What if my child doesn’t want to participate?
What materials will I need?
Can this help if my child already sees a therapist?
Why is this course different from other ones offered online?
This program is deeply personal, shaped by years of real-life counselling work with children and families. It’s not a one-size-fits-all course — it’s a gentle, guided experience designed to support your child’s emotional world and help your family grow together.
What makes the Emotion Explorers Club different:
Guided by therapeutic approaches used in counselling
The program draws on evidence-based strategies and practical tools used by Anja, a qualified child and family counsellor.
Families learn together
Designed for parents and children to complete side by side, strengthening connection while learning new ways to understand and respond to emotions.
Hands-on and engaging
Creative activities, visual supports, and practical tools help children explore feelings in safe and meaningful ways.
Emotionally attuned and child-friendly
Concepts are explained in simple language children understand, helping them feel heard, validated, and supported.
Guidance and support along the way
You’ll have access to guidance from Anja throughout the program if questions or challenges arise including weekly email check ins.
Inclusive and neuroaffirming
Welcoming for children with different kinds of brains and ways of experiencing the world, including ADHD, Autism, anxiety, and emotional regulation challenges.
This isn’t just a course.
It’s a supportive journey that helps your child feel understood — and helps you feel confident supporting them.
If I were to see Anja in person, would I learn the same?
Yes — this program shares the same care, approach, and guidance Anja offers in her counselling sessions, adapted for families to use at home. You’ll learn through simple explanations, practical tools, and supportive strategies designed to help children understand their emotions.
You can work through the program at your own pace, with ongoing guidance available throught the course, so your family feels supported every step of the way.
